“The problems are profound—the problems of the palladium, the problems of the electrochemical interface are truly awesomely profound problems and at the moment I don’t see the resource directed to it to solve these problems in any realistically short time. So I get back to my first point: get money to Cold Fusion.”
The following two videos are digitized VHS recordings from ICCF-7. The first tape, 9A begins with a presentation by Vittorio Violante. Towards the end of the tape at 1:57:33, Mike McKubre takes the stage. He humorously asks for more funding for the field, before moving on to concerns over internal polarization of the field, and the importance of material science.
The second tape provides the conclusion of Michael McKubre’s presentation, “Materials Issues of Loading Deuterium into Palladium and the Association with Excess Heat Production,” begun on the previous tape 9A, with slight overlap. The remainder is a closing session of the conference in which Eugene Mallove is moderator.
