Dr. Michael McKubre: Experimental Cold Fusion, Pseudo-Skepticism, & Progressing LENR

In this interview hosted by SRI International, Dr. Michael McKubre reflects on his decades of work in Cold Fusion research. He describes how his team’s precision in calibrating the resistance ratio versus loading function enabled deeper insight into high-loading regimes of palladium-deuterium systems. Addressing the challenges of replication, McKubre notes the high experimental costs and technical demands of LENR studies. He recounts the heightened scrutiny following major LENR reviews, when political and funding pressures intensified. McKubre defends the rigor of his group’s findings, highlighting key collaborations especially with the Energetics Technologies team in Israel and their development of the Superwave stimulation method and discusses the pathway from experimental validation toward theoretical understanding and eventual commercialization.
